From our experience we’ve found that people often like to combine a walk with a nice drink and a piece of cake.
We know some of the best little tea rooms in the southern Lake District and on these walks we’ll combine one of our trips with a visit to one of these special little places.
These walks are some of our favourites, because they really do let people enjoy the Lake District at a leisurely pace.
A great little Tea Room can be found at Rydal Hall and this is a regular stop for us when we are walking around Rydal Water and Grasmere an area which was loved by Worsworth.
For walks closer to home at Bobbin Mill Cottage, there are a couple of lovely little places in Broughton Village. Broughton Bakery is reknowned in the area for its cakes and bread and the Square Cafe is one of our favourite places to relax after a walk.
